ARA-C01 practice examsIn development
SnowPro Advanced: Architect
Designing on Snowflake, which is what consultancies are staffed against: accounts bound to a region and editions that gate the features a design may use, micro-partition pruning as the whole of query performance, scaling up against scaling out and the three caches, then stages and Snowpipe, streams and tasks, secure sharing that copies nothing but cannot cross regions alone, the role hierarchy with masking and row policies, and Time Travel as the recovery mechanism fail-safe is not.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.
What the exam covers
| Account architecture, storage and compute design | Not published as a fixed percentage |
| Data engineering, sharing, security and continuity | Not published as a fixed percentage |
Two sample questions
1. What does a data clean room allow?
- One party copying the other's data
- One party auditing the other's queries
- Two parties sharing a warehouse
- Two parties analysing without exposure — correct
Why: Neither side ever sees the other's raw rows.
2. What is the effect of a very short auto-suspend delay?
- A longer Time Travel
- A much larger warehouse
- A cold cache on resume — correct
- A new network policy
Why: Suspending too aggressively discards the warm cache.
