EX200 practice examsIn development
Red Hat Certified System Administrator
Performance-based Linux administration: the shell and scripting, systemd and boot recovery, LVM and file systems that survive a reboot, packages, scheduled work and NetworkManager, users, permissions, firewalld and SELinux left enforcing, and containers with Podman.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.

Two sample questions
1. What is the fifth field of a crontab line?
- The day of the month
- The month of the year
- The day of the week — correct
- The command to be run
Why: Minute, hour, day of month, month, then day of week.
2. What does $# hold in a shell script?
- The process id of the shell
- The exit status of the last command that ran
- The name of the running script
- The number of positional parameters — correct
Why: Checking it before using the parameters is how a script fails clearly instead of oddly. The parameters themselves are in $@ and the script name is $0.
