1Z0-071 practice examsIn development
Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
SQL as Oracle implements it: SELECT with the logical evaluation order, null handling and single-row functions, joins, aggregation and subqueries with the NOT IN and NOT EXISTS distinction, and DDL, constraints, transactions with implicit commits, and the objects and dictionary views around them.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.
What the exam covers

Two sample questions
1. What does read consistency mean for a long query?
- It sees each change as it is committed
- It blocks writers until it has finished
- It restarts if the underlying data changes
- It sees the data as of the moment it began — correct
Why: Undo is what makes that possible without blocking anybody.
2. What does SUM ignore?
- Null values — correct
- All values
- Positive values
- Negative values
Why: SUM ignores nulls in its total.
