Two sample questions

Two of the 901, with the answer and the explanation.

1. Which backup type copies only the data that has changed since the last full backup, regardless of any incremental backups performed since then?

  1. Full backup copying all selected data regardless of previous backup status
  2. Incremental backup copying only data changed since any last backup type
  3. Snapshot backup creating a point-in-time image of the entire storage volume
  4. Differential backup copying data changed since the last full backup only — correct

Why: A differential backup copies all data that has changed since the last full backup. Unlike incremental backups (which only copy changes since the last backup of any type), differential backups grow larger over time but require only the full backup plus the latest differential to restore.

2. Which standard covers dynamic frequency selection and transmit power control in 5 GHz?

  1. 802.11e
  2. 802.1Q
  3. 802.11h — correct
  4. 802.3at

Why: 802.11h adds DFS and TPC to avoid interfering with radar.
