Mendix Intermediate Developer

Mendix · intermediate · 90 minutes

In developmentThis course is still being brought to our full standard. The questions and notes are usable, but they have not yet been checked line by line against the vendor’s own training.

Low-code development on Mendix: persistable against non-persistable entities, associations with ownership and delete behaviour, microflows on the server against nanoflows on the client that work offline, data views providing widget context, and validation placed on the entity so it cannot be bypassed; then the three security levels with XPath constraints limiting rows, mappings keeping the domain model independent of external structures, constrained retrieves rather than filtering in a loop, and one deployment package promoted with constants.

What you get

180practice questions
3full papers of 60

100%answers explained

Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.

What the exam covers

The domains our question bank is built on. We have not yet transcribed this vendor’s own outline for this exam.

Two sample questions

Two of the 180, with the answer and the explanation.

1. What does publishing an OData service expose?

  1. Entities as a queryable feed external tools can read — correct
  2. Microflows as callable operations with parameters
  3. Pages as embeddable components for other apps
  4. The database directly to a reporting tool

Why: It is what lets a reporting tool read the data without a bespoke integration being written.

2. Why can a nanoflow work offline?

  1. It runs on the client device — correct
  2. It runs only on the server
  3. It needs no logic at all
  4. It publishes a service

Why: Because a nanoflow executes on the client, it can run in an offline mobile app without the server.
