ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support

PeopleCert / Axelos · intermediate · 90 minutes

In developmentThis course is still being brought to our full standard. The questions and notes are usable, but they have not yet been checked line by line against the vendor’s own training.

The end-to-end delivery module of ITIL 4: designing and improving a service value stream around the bottleneck, what each practice contributes, prioritising and managing work with shift left and automation, sourcing decisions, and the teams, culture and technology that carry it.

What you get

3full papers of 40
2course chapters · 12 minutes
100%answers explained

Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.

Two sample questions

Two of the 120, with the answer and the explanation.

1. What does the guiding principle keep it simple and practical advise for a value stream?

  1. Remove the practices that are hardest
  2. Use the simplest tool on the market
  3. Reduce the number of people involved
  4. Remove steps that add no value — correct

Why: Keeping it simple and practical means removing steps that do not contribute to an outcome, which keeps the value stream efficient rather than burdened with unnecessary complexity.

2. Why should metrics be chosen to reflect outcomes rather than only activity?

  1. Activity metrics are harder to collect
  2. Outcomes cannot be measured objectively
  3. Activity data is confidential to the team
  4. Activity can look healthy while outcomes are poor — correct

Why: A team can be busy and hit activity targets while the consumer outcome is poor, so metrics that reflect the outcome, such as value delivered, matter more than counts of activity.
