GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate

GitLab · intermediate · 90 minutes

In developmentThis course is still being brought to our full standard. The questions and notes are usable, but they have not yet been checked line by line against the vendor’s own training.

Continuous integration and delivery on GitLab: a pipeline defined with the code and composed with includes, rules where the first match wins and needs turning stages into a graph, runners selected by tag with the executor deciding isolation, and artifacts against optional caches; then environments giving deployment history and rollback, parent and child and merge train pipelines, security scanners reporting on the merge request, short-lived credentials from a vault, and the merged configuration view that answers most pipeline questions.

What you get

180practice questions
3full papers of 60
2course chapters · 13 minutes
100%answers explained

Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.

Two sample questions

Two of the 180, with the answer and the explanation.

1. What does dynamic application security testing require that static testing does not?

  1. A running instance of the application to probe — correct
  2. A manifest listing each of the declared dependencies
  3. An image built and pushed to the registry
  4. A coverage report produced by the test job

Why: Dynamic testing exercises the application over its interfaces while it runs, so a deployed instance is a prerequisite. Static analysis needs only the code.

2. Why does variable precedence matter?

  1. The most specific definition wins — correct
  2. Variables are equal in rank
  3. Just project variables apply
  4. Precedence sets the pipeline stages

Why: Variables can be defined at many levels, and precedence rules decide which value applies when they conflict.
