Dynatrace Associate practice examsIn development
Dynatrace Certified Associate
Observability on a platform built around automatic instrumentation: OneAgent discovering and instrumenting without code changes with deep monitoring arriving at the next process restart, ActiveGate extending reach, the entity model and Smartscape topology discovered from real communication, and PurePath traces appearing without developer work; then Davis correlating anomalies into one problem with a root cause, automatic baselining, real user monitoring against synthetics, dashboards and the query language, and scoped permissions and tokens.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.
What the exam covers
| The platform, deployment and the entity model | Not published |
| Problems, monitoring signals, analysis and administration | Not published |
Two sample questions
1. Which quality should every alert notification have?
- A clear action for whoever receives it — correct
- A copy sent to every team in the tenant
- A severity chosen by the owning team
- A link to the ingestion usage report
Why: An alert with no clear action wastes attention and trains people to ignore future alerts.
2. What is a request attribute?
- A captured value from a request for analysis — correct
- The physical location of the ActiveGate used
- The licence tier assigned to the tenant
- The retention period of the lakehouse
Why: A request attribute extracts a value from requests, letting you filter and analyse transactions by it.
