DP-900 practice examsFinished
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
How data is shaped and moved, what relational and non-relational stores are each good at, and what an analytics workload on Azure is actually made of.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.
What the exam covers
| Describe core data concepts | 25-30% |
| Identify considerations for relational data on Azure | 20-25% |
| Describe considerations for working with non-relational data on Azure | 15-20% |
| Describe an analytics workload on Azure | 25-30% |
Two sample questions
1. Which feature shares capacity across a group of databases?
- A single provisioned database
- A read only replica
- An elastic pool — correct
- A geo redundant backup
Why: The pool suits many databases whose peaks occur at different times.
2. A transaction must never leave the database breaking its rules, such as negative stock. Which property is this?
- Consistency — correct
- Durability
- Isolation
- Partitioning
Why: Consistency means each transaction moves the database from one valid state to another, respecting its rules.
