DCA practice examsIn development
Docker Certified Associate
Containers as they actually work: what isolation is made of, how images are layered and why the Dockerfile order matters, swarm orchestration, and the networking, storage and security decisions that make a deployment safe.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.
What the exam covers
| Installation, configuration and image management | 35% |
| Orchestration | 25% |
| Networking, storage and security | 40% |
Two sample questions
1. Which setting reverts a service automatically when an update fails?
- A restart policy
- A failure action of rollback — correct
- A placement constraint
- A health check alone as it happens
Why: Setting the update failure action to rollback returns the service to its previous specification automatically.
2. What does STOPSIGNAL change?
- Which signal is sent when the container is asked to stop — correct
- How long the daemon waits before killing the container process
- Whether the container restarts after it stops
- Which process inside the container receives signals
Why: Applications that expect a different signal to shut down cleanly need it set, or they are killed after the grace period. The wait itself is a run-time option.
