DVA-C02 practice examsFinished
AWS Certified Developer - Associate
Building on AWS rather than designing or running it: Lambda and the event-driven services, DynamoDB and S3 from the application side, credentials that are never stored, pipelines, and reading an error correctly.
What you get
Papers are cut from the bank and weighted like the real exam, and no question appears in two of them. Every wrong answer comes back on later days until you have it right.
What the exam covers
| Development with AWS Services | 32% |
| Security | 26% |
| Deployment | 24% |
| Troubleshooting and Optimization | 18% |
Two sample questions
1. Which practice prevents sensitive values appearing in application logs?
- Logging every request body out verbatim
- Raising the log verbosity to debug
- Storing the logs in a public bucket
- Redacting fields before they are written — correct
Why: Explicitly redacting tokens and personal data keeps secrets out of log storage and downstream analytics.
2. A write must succeed only if the item does not already exist. What should be added to PutItem?
- A projection expression
- A filter expression
- ReturnValues ALL_NEW
- attribute_not_exists — correct
Why: A condition expression such as attribute_not_exists(pk) makes PutItem fail if the item already exists.
